Between October 2006 and May 2007, a total of 29 projects have been carried out or started by the Gloucestershire Society for Industrial Archaeology in support of Phase 1b of the Cotswold Canals Restoration Project. A report has been produced for each project and there is a separate ‘overview’ report on the work as a whole. Also available is a list of the projects with a brief description of each one. Another document contains summaries of all the project reports.

A key aim of this work is to make the results available as a ‘resource‘ for all who wish to find out more about the canals, particularly those wishing to carry out their own research. Therefore, where possible, much of the material can be accessed on the Internet from this website or downloaded as PDF files.

Please note that all material is provided ‘as is’ with no warrantry whatsoever and that the material remains the copyright of the contributors or of the people or organisations who have kindly perrmitted their material to included the ‘resource’ material.
