The ‘normal’ Summer Visits and Winter Lectures programmes are currently suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
However we are organising lectures by Zoom and a limited programme of walks for Members. For further information, please click on the Winter Lectures and Summer Visits links, respectively.
Each year the Society arranges a programme of Summer Visits and Winter Lectures (including ‘social’ events).
The Summer programme is normally posted here in March each year and the Winter programme in the following August. When a programme is complete, but the new programme has yet to be announced, the old programme remains online as an indication of our activities.
Visitors are most welcome at all our events..
We ask £1 per visitor at lectures to help with the costs.
